Water Solubility Of Daidzein And Amino Modified Beta Cyclodextrin

Daidzein, also known as a kind of important isoflavonoids, mainly in leguminous plants such as soybean and pueraria. Research shows that daidzein has important pharmacological effects, including anti thrombus formation, and atherosclerosis, antioxidant, anti diabetic bone protection and anti-tumor effects. At the same time, daidzein by metabolism for S-equol has estrogen like in the gut. However, daidzein has poor solubility, low stability and poor oral absorption, resulting in low bioavailability and low absorption in vivo, which greatly hinders the effective use of its pharmacological effects. Therefore, improving the water solubility of daidzein is of great significance for improving its bioavailability and developing its medicinal value.

Cyclodextrin has "taper shaped molecular structure within the hydrophobic and hydrophilic, with many organic / inorganic molecules through a variety of non covalent interactions, such as Fan Dehua force, hydrogen bond, hydrophobic interaction and the formation of water soluble subject object inclusion or assemble into supramolecular complex system. When cyclodextrins are used as supramolecular bodies for insoluble drugs or bioactive molecules, their solubility, stability and bioavailability can be greatly improved. It has been found that the water solubility of the modified cyclodextrin can be greatly improved by modifying the beta cyclodextrin with amino groups. In two kinds of amino modified cyclodextrin derivative (ACD), which is a mono-(6-amino-6-deoxy)-beta-cyclodextrin and mono-(6-ethanediamine-6-deoxy)-beta-cyclodextrin (ENCD) as the main body, and hydroxypropyl betacyclodextrin, sulfobutyl betacyclodextrin and beta cyclodextrin as contrast, solubilization of amino modified cyclodextrin has stronger of daidzein.
