This technology uses the waste residue from the tomato sauce industry as raw materials to develop green health foods that use lycopene, linoleic acid, and vitamin E as the main functional ingredients.

At present, the tomato processing industry with tomato sauce as the leading product has become an important industry in Hexi agriculture. However, the waste residue produced in the production of tomato sauce is mostly discarded except for a small part of it used as a feed additive. Not only caused a huge waste of resources, but also brought environmental pollution.
