Safety requirements for tank operations

In the process of sending and receiving oil, oil tanks often cause equipment damage or run, run, and oil accidents due to improper operation. Therefore, in the process of sending and receiving oil, it is necessary to strictly abide by the operating procedures, carefully check the working condition of the oil tank and its ancillary equipment, and deal with abnormal conditions and immediately deal with it to avoid accidents in the oil tank.

Before the oil tank is closed, the necessary inspection of the tank and its ancillary equipment should be carried out in advance. In the process of collecting oil, there should also be a special person in charge of the inspection of the oil tank, timely measuring the height of the oil surface, accurately grasping the oil inlet condition, and preventing the oil tank or pipeline from running oil or oil accidents. When the measurement is found to be abnormal, measures should be taken immediately to find out the cause and eliminate it immediately. If necessary, stop the pump and close the valve, and continue working after the fault is removed. When the tank storage tank is being sent or received, the valve on the breathing line should be opened first, and the condensate (oil) of the breathing tube should be drained and the valve on the oil pipeline should be opened. In the process of sending and receiving oil in the tank storage tank, the oil and gas pipeline must be kept open. It is forbidden to open the measuring hole for exhausting, so as to avoid excessive oil and gas in the cave, and personnel poisoning or explosion fire accidents occur.

When collecting oil, it should be installed according to the safe capacity of the tank to prevent oil accidents caused by the expansion of oil volume after over-loading, or to burst the tank when the breathing equipment fails. For semi-underground oil tanks and ground light oil tanks with unreliable breathing valve operation, the measuring holes of the tank top are not opened during the oil feeding process to ensure the safety of the oil tank.

In the cold season, if the accessories on the oil pipeline are frozen, the accessories can only be heated with hot water or steam.

When transporting oil, the operator should start the relevant valve on the oil tank or pipeline smoothly and slowly. Pay attention to the conveying direction of the oil. After checking to confirm the conveying direction is correct, restart the oil pump. The delivery volume of the oil pump should not exceed the oil tank. Allow maximum traffic.

When loading oil from one tank to another, first open the relevant valve on the pipeline, prepare to let the oil flow to the empty tank, and then gradually close the tank gate valve to be filled with oil. It is forbidden to open both oils at the same time. The gate valve of the tank. When the flow is found to be incorrect, you must immediately identify the cause and take action to troubleshoot or stop the pump.

After the transmission or sending and receiving of oil is completed, the relevant lifting pipe should be lifted so that one end of the inlet and outlet ports is higher than the liquid level, so as to avoid oil leakage when the oil receiving pipeline or the oil tank gate valve is damaged. The sampling and measurement of the oil tank must be carried out after the oil level is stable (A and B oils take about 30 minutes). All the regulations for entering the dangerous area should be strictly observed during sampling and measurement. It is strictly forbidden to use rope made of man-made fiber. The tool, the sampling cylinder used, shall be of a material that does not generate sparks when colliding. The lamp and flashlight shall be explosion-proof. Measurement samplers must not wear chemical fiber clothing and nail shoes. Sampling measurements in lightning and heavy rain are prohibited. The oil thrown on the oil tank should be wiped off in time.

For oils that require heating, the heating temperature must not exceed the limit temperature at which the oil in the tank is heated. Before heating, the condensed water in the heating system should be drained to prevent water hammering; when heating, it is strictly forbidden to expose the pipe to the oil surface; during the heating process, if the condensed water released by the inspection is found to have oil marks, measures should be taken to eliminate it. Failure or stop heating.
