Anda City Environmental Protection and other related departments have carried out many rectifications on illegal plastic pellet processing points. However, due to the concealment and liquidity of the industry, some illegal operators are profitable, hiding in the vicinity of the urban and rural junctions, and running small plastic processing points.
After the preliminary investigation, the multi-departmental division of labor and joint action of Anda City investigated and dealt with 33 “disinfected†small waste plastic processing points hidden in the urban and rural joint housing area. The garbage in these processing points is randomly stacked, the operation workshop is primitive and simple, the wires are disorderly connected, and the production environment is dirty and chaotic, which has great security risks. Law enforcement officers ordered the processing sites to stop production. The electrical sector has also taken measures to cut power from these processing points. In order to establish and improve the long-term mechanism for industry management, law enforcement agencies will also strengthen daily inspections and dynamic supervision, conduct regular follow-up inspections, consolidate the effectiveness of the elimination, and fully suppress the resurgence of illegal waste plastics processing points.
