China leads the "Internet of Things Overview" standard into a global standard

Recently, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T) Study Group 13 meeting reviewed and adopted the Draft Standard for the Internet of Things (Y.IoT-overview) standard numbered Y. 2060. This is the world's first overall standard for the Internet of Things. It was initiated by the Institute of Telecommunications of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in May 2011. As the editorial unit of the standard, it organized the relevant organizations in the country to submit standard documents. The standard covers the basic concepts of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, terms, technical views, features, requirements, reference models, and business models. It also reflects the interests of China’s interests and transforms research results that have been formed in China to guide and promote global IoT technologies and industries. The development of applications, standards and standards is of great significance.
