Composite laminate flooring related introduction
Composite laminate flooring is a multi-layer structure floor. Due to the special structure, the materials, properties and requirements of each layer are described as follows:
1. Surface wear layer
The surface wear layer is the wear-resistant surface paper in the figure, and the abrasion resistance of the floor mainly depends on the transparent wear-resistant paper. The surface paper contains high wear-resistant materials such as aluminum oxide and silicon carbide, and the content thereof is proportional to the wear resistance. However, the content of the wear-resistant material should not be too high, generally not more than 75g/m2, otherwise the clarity of the lower decorative paper will be affected due to its covering effect. At the same time, the hardness and wear resistance requirements of the tool are also increased accordingly.
2, decorative layer
The decorative layer is actually a printed decorative paper made by computer simulation. It is usually printed with wood grain or other patterns of precious tree species. The paper is made of refined wood and cotton pulp. It requires whiteness of 90 or more and water absorption of 25mm/10min. A certain hiding power to cover the color of the dark cushioning paper and prevent the underlying resin from penetrating the surface. Titanium white paper containing 5% to 20% titanium dioxide and having a basis weight of about 100 g/m2 is generally used. Figure 4-4 Composite laminate flooring structure
3, the buffer layer
The buffer layer is such that the decorative layer has a certain thickness and mechanical strength, generally kraft paper, the basis weight is 60-125 g/m2, and the thickness of the paper is between 0.2-0.3 mm.
4, artificial board substrate
There are two main types of substrates for composite laminate flooring, one is medium- and high-density fiberboard, and the other is particleboard in the form of special shavings. Most of the composite laminate flooring currently on the market is based on medium and high density fiberboard. Because the floor is relatively harsh compared to other decorative materials, the requirements for moisture resistance, deformability and pressure resistance of the substrate are high. The quality of the substrate largely determines the quality of the floor. . When MDF is used as the substrate for composite laminate flooring, the technical specifications must meet the requirements of Table 4-6.
5, the balance layer
The bottom layer of the composite laminate flooring is a paper that is balanced with the surface decoration layer in order to make the panel structurally symmetrical to avoid deformation, and also has a certain moisture-proof effect after installation. The balance paper is a wandering or non-wandering kraft paper with a certain thickness and mechanical strength. The balance paper is impregnated with phenolic resin, and the content is generally 80% or more, and has high moisture and moisture resistance.
