The United States has developed a ceramic solid electrolyte new fuel cell

In December 2011, researchers at the University of Maryland developed a fuel cell that could replace a gasoline generator and generate twice as much power as an internal combustion generator.
It is reported that the fuel cell has a ceramic solid electrolyte, so it is called a solid oxide fuel cell. Solid oxide fuel cells operate on a variety of off-the-shelf fuels, including diesel, gasoline and natural gas, which have been used to generate electricity for buildings.
It is understood that the new electrolyte material makes the fuel cell structure more compact and can generate more than 10 times the power, but the operating temperature is too high, and the goal is to reduce it to 350 degrees Celsius for use in automobiles.
