In the absence of low-temperature fluidity improvers, most of the biodiesel cold filter points prepared by most oils are above 0 °C, and some even higher. Thus, at lower temperatures, biodiesel cannot be used. Even in the summer of high temperatures, biodiesel prepared from some oils with high saturated fatty acids is difficult to use. Biodiesel has a relatively strong solvency. Due to the strong dissolving power of biodiesel, this has a swelling property for rubber and plastic parts of automobile engines and gas stations.

Therefore, when the temperature in winter is low, the fuel car with 30% biodiesel is used. It is difficult to start with ordinary diesel vehicles.
