Single channel dryer
The single-channel dryer is the key equipment for the production of oriented strand board. It is used to dry the wet long shavings from the long-size planer. It has high thermal efficiency, little damage to the shaving pattern, large production capacity, and is widely used in oriented structures. Board and general particle board manufacturers. In order to prevent the shavings from being subjected to collision or friction in the drying equipment. A hollow tumble dryer is used as a single-channel drum dryer. By means of the combined action of the airflow in the drum and the rotating branch of the drum, the shavings form an approximate spiral motion trajectory in the drum. In this way, the shavings in the drum are mainly soft collision or soft friction between the shavings, so the shaving pattern can be ideally protected. Due to the large size of the oriented shavings or wheat straw scraps, the moisture content is higher, and the drying process is completed in a shorter time, requiring a faster drying rate. For this purpose, high temperature (250 ~ 300 °) drying medium is generally used.

The main body of the single-channel dryer is mainly composed of a front end, a feed port, a seal, a drum assembly, a rear end, a gear transmission portion, a roller assembly, and a wheel assembly. A spiral copy board is evenly distributed in the front section of the drum to make the wet shavings evenly distributed in the drum and advance with the rotation of the drum. The entire length of the other part of the drum is evenly distributed with a straight copy board. When the drum rotates, the board will pick up and sprinkle the shavings, so that the contact surface of the shavings and hot air grows to increase the drying rate and promote the progress of the shavings.
