The first batch of tungsten export quotas issued in 2009

Recently, the Ministry of Commerce issued the first batch of tungsten export quotas in 2009, and the total amount of tungsten products ordered was 8,760 tons (equivalent to the amount of metals, the same below), accounting for 60.0% of the total amount of the year, compared with the first batch in 2008. The quota is reduced by 18.78%.
Among them: ammonium paratungstate and ammonium metatungstate 2,015.3 tons, accounting for 23.0% of the total, 279 tons less than the previous year; tungstic acid and its salts 788.3 tons, accounting for 9.0% of the total, 404 tons less than the previous year; 4,554.4 tons of tungsten and blue tungsten oxide, accounting for 52.0% of the total, 973 tons less than the previous year; 1,402 tons of tungsten powder and its products, accounting for 16.0% of the total, a decrease of 369 tons over the previous year.
