What is the difference between a network camera and an analog surveillance camera?

Both products are used for security monitoring. First of all, the fundamental difference between the two is that the video transmission mode is different. The former signal is a digital signal. Therefore, it is transmitted through the network cable, so that remote monitoring can be easily realized. The latter signal is an analog signal that can only be transmitted through the video line and is generally used for closed-circuit monitoring. Second, the former is usually used alone and directly connected to the switch. The latter is often used with other video processing devices such as DVRs or DVSs. In essence, network cameras are composed of analog cameras and video servers and are extensions and upgrades of analog cameras.
