The common pharmaceutical foils on the market have two alloy states, namely 8011 aluminum foil and 8021 aluminum foil, in which the 8011 alloy generally has a thickness of 0.05 mm or less, and the 8021 alloy has a thickness of more than 0.05 mm. In general, the main production process is: billet inspection - open billet - open in the sub-rolling - roll-rolling - rolled products - slitting - furnace annealing - finished product packaging. The surface of medical aluminum foil requires no oil, no bright crystal, no black lines, no pinholes, no yellow spots, no lotus leaf, etc. In the production process, the control of the surface and performance is mainly several points:

First, we must first control the quality from the source and strictly inspect the blank;

Secondly, in the rolling process, the surface quality is controlled through the cleaning and roughness control of the rolls, the selection of the rolling oil, the reduction of the viscosity of the rolling oil, and the control of the operating speed of the machine.

Third, again, in the process of cutting, it is necessary to ensure that the edges of aluminum coils are neatly trimmed during the slitting process, and quality problems such as lotus leaf edges cannot occur;

Fourth, later in the annealing process, according to the performance requirements of the drug foil to control the annealing time and annealing temperature, to ensure clean degreasing.

With the development of the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical aluminum foils have improved moisture resistance, barrier properties, chemical resistance, chemical stability, and hygienic application. The appearance and quality requirements are also increasing. The prospects are very broad.
