Ceramic tile 2011 year-end inventory

A blink of an eye is the end of 2011. The ceramic tile industry has gone through 2011 in the transition from high-speed expansion to adjustment and development. At the end of the year, the overall overview is as follows:

[Production] The official statistics for the whole year of 2011 have not yet been published. The data for the first 10 months that can be seen is already sufficient to illustrate the situation throughout the year. In the first 10 months of 2011, the total output of ceramic tiles exceeded 7.5 billion square meters, which has reached the highest historical output. The output of the whole year of 2010 has increased by more than 14% year-on-year. The annual production of ceramic tiles has exceeded 8 billion square meters, and it is a foregone conclusion. 90 million square meters, maintaining double-digit growth for eight consecutive years.

[Per Capita] In 2010, China's per capita ceramic brick apparent consumption [(annual output - exports + imports) / population] exceeded 5 square meters/person for the first time, if the national ceramic tile output reached 9 billion square meters in 2011, exports 900 million In terms of square meters, the per capita consumption of ceramic tiles in 2011 will exceed 5.9 square meters/person, approaching 6 square meters/person. It is far higher than the production and manufacturing of big ceramics in Brazil, India, Iran, Italy, and Vietnam.

[Quality] In 2011, the ceramic tile product quality “National Pumping” sampled 202 ceramic tile products produced by 202 companies in 14 provinces and autonomous regions. The product pass rate is 86.1%. Fortunately, in recent years, the passing rate of "national pumping" products has been rising year after year. There has been no case of excessive radioactive activity this time. Unfortunately, some well-known companies have failed the list. This year, some ceramic tile products of well-known ceramic companies in Foshan failed to qualify for the “provincial pumping” blacklist.

【Export】 China's export of ceramic tiles this year is most impressed by anti-dumping. The final results of EU anti-dumping cases against EU ceramic tiles have settled. Some Chinese ceramic enterprises are subject to import tariffs of 26.3% to 36.5%, while others are implemented at 69.7%. The punitive tariffs; Thailand's anti-dumping duty on ceramic tiles in China averaged 4.58%; Argentina and Peru requested to initiate anti-dumping investigations on ceramic tiles originating in China. However, exports of ceramic tiles in China continued to maintain growth in 2011. By October, ceramic tile exports had increased by more than 18% year-on-year.

[Sales] China's ceramic tile industry has almost no complete sales statistics. Under the influence of macroeconomic and real estate policies in 2011, the entire industry can clearly feel the pressure of sales, especially in the second half of the year, and therefore in many ceramic products. In the area, production booms have ceased, such as Sichuan Jiajiang, Yimen Yunnan, and even Zibo, Hunan, Jiangxi and other producing areas. When the production climax ceases, about 30 to 50% of production lines stop production. The 2011 sales situation feels inconsistent with the production data. If this is the case, it means that the 2011 inventory is a very large number.

[Brand] believes that the winter of the industry has come, especially the fact that the real estate area has ceased production in large areas has strengthened people's understanding. In fact, the sales situation of most brands is growth rather than decline. What they are not satisfied with is that they have grown but failed to meet expectations. And most brands are growing at more than 20%, such as: Nobel ceramics tax in 2011 alone grew from 306 million in 2010 to 360 million yuan***. In such a big environment, it is the brand's role, or the role of the network and the terminal with it. It is worth studying.

[Innovation] There are three major categories of ceramic tile new products in 2010, full-glazed, inkjet printing, and microcrystalline stone. Full-glazed glaze products have basically entered the mature stage; inkjet-made domestic equipment has occupied a major market, the process of localization of ink-jet printing inks is accelerating, and the success of white ink has pushed ink-jet printing decoration to a new stage. There are about 130 inkjet printing machines in China, which will further increase; microcrystalline products are the hottest new products this year. It seems that there have been nearly 50 microcrystalline stone production lines across the country in one night, especially once the burning of microcrystalline stones. The success has promoted the process of microcrystalline products for the public. Other new products include jade tiles and dry glazes. As for the ceramic tile thinning or thin type of brick, in 2011 it was still a thunder.

[Planning] The “Twelfth Five-year Development Plan for the Construction and Sanitary Ceramics Industry” was formally issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology at the end of the first year of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”. The building sanitary ceramics entered the national strategic development level for the first time. “Planning” put forward the guiding ideology of “accelerating the transformation of development methods and basing on the needs of the domestic market” and put forward the “main goal” of the “building ceramics ceramics industry's average annual growth value of more than 10%” under the premise of an annual increase of 4%. "Planning" is a forward-looking vision of the industry, a lot of guidance for the development of the industry, or more constraints on the industry itself, or both.

[Productivity Survey] The six-year “Taochang Long March—National Tile Productivity Survey” passes through more than 70 built ceramic producing areas in 29 provinces and cities across the country, covering more than 300 natural villages in more than 200 townships and villages. In-depth and detailed research on the “long march” of national architectural ceramics production areas was conducted. The survey results showed that there are currently 3,327 ceramic tile production lines across the country, with a daily production capacity of 34,882,245 square meters. Therefore, the overall production of ceramic tiles in 2011 can be described as "100 billion square meters of production capacity, 9 billion square meters of production." Jiangxi ceramic tile production capacity exceeds Sichuan, breaking the pattern of the original four major production areas, from then on the national ceramic tile industry structure will enter the pattern of the five major producing areas.
