The results show that even if they belong to the same porphyrin family, the ultra-high resolution nonlinear TERS technology can still be used for different distances of about 0.3 nm. The porphyrin molecules are clearly chemically recognized, and the measured Raman spectroscopy has its own characteristic vibration "fingerprint", which can clearly distinguish the "identity" and structure of the molecule.

Dong Zhenchao said that the results have important scientific and practical value for any field that needs to identify the composition and structure of materials at the molecular scale.
