Chrysanthemum hydroponics technology

Chrysanthemum is a perennial herb belonging to the genus Chrysanthemum. It typically grows upright or spreads out, with thick stems and multiple branches. The plant height ranges from 40 to 150 cm, and its branchlets are usually blue-green or purple-brown. The leaves are large, ovate to broadly lanceolate, with serrated or deeply cleft edges, and a wedge-shaped base. As one of the most traditional flowers in China, it has been cultivated for centuries. It is known by various names such as Juhua, Jinrui, and Huanghua, and is often associated with autumn and resilience. This flower is highly cold-tolerant and thrives in cool climates with plenty of sunlight. The ideal temperature range for growth is between 18-21°C. Most varieties bloom in the golden autumn, except for Xiaju, which has a different flowering schedule. Recent studies have shown that hydroponic chrysanthemums can produce higher chlorophyll content, more dry matter accumulation, and slower transpiration rates. This leads to faster growth, earlier bud development, and extended blooming periods—up to 50 to 60 days. Such improvements allow for earlier market availability, increasing both price and value. The nutrient solution for hydroponic chrysanthemums includes inorganic nutrients like potassium nitrate (69%), superphosphate (18%), magnesium sulfate (9.7%), urea (1.4%), ferrous sulfate (0.69%), manganese sulfate (0.27%), phosphoric acid (0.27%), anhydrous calcium chloride (0.067%), and zinc acetate (0.067%). The ratio of these elements to water changes over time: 1:500 in early stages (mid-July to early August), 1:300 in mid-stages (mid-August to mid-September), and 1:400 in later stages (late September to mid-October). The pH should be maintained between 5 and 5.5 for optimal growth. In early July, the roots were transplanted into a new pot with an inner diameter of 20 cm and a depth of 14 cm. The base was filled with vermiculite, and the drainage hole was covered with a tile. After planting, the plants were misted with water and covered with plastic film to protect against rain. A shading curtain was also used. After 7–10 days, the plastic film and curtain were removed. If heavy rain occurred, the film was reapplied before mid to late August. Nutrient solution was applied every five days, and some water was sprayed afterward to prevent residue on the leaves, which could cause damage. Nutrient solution application began three days after the start of autumn, and the frequency was adjusted to once every five days after the buds formed. In case of rain, additional nutrient solution was added promptly. Since the growing medium is soft, the seedlings were prone to falling over. To prevent excessive elongation, B9 solution (diluted 800–1000 times) was sprayed 2–3 times during the early stage and when the seedlings reached a height of 10–15 cm. Hydroponic chrysanthemums grow rapidly, with the first blooms appearing just 110–130 days after cuttings. The strong growth of the seedlings makes this method efficient. Compared to traditional soil cultivation, hydroponics reduces labor intensity and ensures a cleaner, more hygienic environment.

Automatic Sliding Door

Automatic Sliding Doors can either be a single door sliding in one direction or bi-parting doors where each door leaf slides in the opposite direction. They are often used in grocery stores, entrances to shopping malls, hospitals and other applications where you want to provide your customers a hands free, safe and easy access to your building.

Hospitals

Airports

Retail centers

Pharmacies

Hotels

Grocery stores

Hardware stores

Sporting goods stores

And more

In addition, one of the biggest benefits of automatic doors is energy savings. Since these doors only open when someone comes in or out of your building, it prevents the loss of energy when a door may otherwise be left open for a long time.

Hongfa will only dispatch highly trained CE Certified inspector/technicians to inspect, repair, service or replace automatic doors. This ensures we provide the most efficient and safest door repair for your business.
