National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee General Meeting and Work Conference Held

The National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee and the 2013 Work Conference were held in Sanya, Hainan Province from December 19 to 21, 2013. The National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Standard Committee”) from all over the country. Director Lu Xuzhong of the Industrial Standardization Administration of the State Standardization Administration announced the sixth standard of the National Standardization Administration Committee. The approval document of the composition of the committee, Liu Mingyao, the chairman of the sixth session of the standardization committee, made a work commitment on behalf of the six-year standardization committee. The leaders of the meeting presented the appointment letter of the members to the secretary-general of the sixth session committee and sub-technical committee. It also awarded honorary certificates to 43 units and 43 personnel who were awarded the title of Advanced Unit and Advanced Individual of the 5th Standardization Committee. During the meeting, Lu Xuzhong, Wen Shunru, and Li Jiyun made speeches. The work meeting of the Standards Committee reviewed and approved the "National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee Regulations", "National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee Secretariat Working Rules", "National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee Standard Revision Project Management Measures", Implementation Rules for the Project Proposal for the Standardization and Revision Plan of the National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee.

The following major issues were completed in the work meeting of the relevant technical committees of the Standards Committee: the review passed a series of national standards and machinery industry standards, mainly including "Ordinary Abrasive Ceramic Corundum", "Measurement of Capillary Capillary Phenomena", and "Super Hard Abrasive Plating".
