Recently, the finishing workshop of the large-scale branch factory of the strip factory started from two aspects of equipment precision and saw blade repair technology, and successfully improved the life of the heavy rail saw blade by 50%.
Due to the aging of the sawing and drilling machine equipment of the factory, the sawing quality often fluctuates when the saw blade fails to reach the service life, which causes the heavy rail to be degraded and cut according to the deviation of the slope and the cross section. To avoid this situation, only the method of replacing the saw blade can be used. This method not only increases the processing cost, but also frequently changes the production time and reduces the equipment operation rate.
In response to this problem, the technicians of the plant started the research activities. After several months of on-site tracking and data analysis, it was found that the cause of saw blade failure was mostly sawing and the section was not smooth. Therefore, the tackifiers started from the equipment precision and saw blade repair process, and formulated three measures in a targeted manner: one is to regularly measure the wear level of the wear plate of the saw drill machine, and replace the wear plate with a wear exceeding a certain range; Ensure the precision of the feeding guide of the sawing machine, avoid the excessive swing of the side swing when the saw is made, and cause the step of the cut surface of the heavy rail saw; the third is that the sawing angle is too large for the internal stress of the saw blade, and the sawing blade is added in the saw blade repair process. The film eliminates the internal stress step, and links the performance of the relevant post personnel with the quality of the saw blade repair to improve the enthusiasm of the employees. After the implementation of the measures, the service life of the saw blade was greatly improved, and the number of sawing blades was successfully increased to 420 knives from 280 knives before the attack.
