When fuel is burned in a boiler, soot can accumulate on the heating surfaces and flue. This buildup reduces thermal efficiency, increases energy consumption, and shortens the boiler’s lifespan. If the soot becomes too thick, it not only hinders heat transfer but also increases flue resistance, potentially causing operational issues or even forced shutdowns for cleaning, which disrupts production.
Traditionally, soot removal was done manually or with steam blowing—methods that are labor-intensive, inefficient, and harmful to workers. Additionally, these methods often leave residues and may damage the boiler.
Using oxidized or catalytic boiler cleaning agents offers significant advantages. These agents produce alkali metal cations that adhere to pipe walls, preventing soot buildup. They promote complete oxidation of accumulated soot, allowing it to burn off completely. The molten nitrate helps remove stubborn scale, while the catalyst makes the scale easier to oxidize. During combustion, the nitrate reacts with carbon from the fuel, creating gas shock waves that help dislodge scale more effectively.
The nitrite produced by the decomposition of nitrates also plays a role in protecting the pipe walls. Additionally, corrosion inhibitors in the product reduce boiler corrosion and minimize sulfur dioxide formation.
Complete combustion reduces emissions of soot and carbon monoxide into the atmosphere. Ammonium salts in the formula also help lower nitrogen oxide levels in flue gases, benefiting the environment.

Application Scope:

Dosage:
1. Under normal conditions (no significant soot buildup), for boilers with an evaporation rate of less than 10 tons per hour, use once daily. The dosage is typically one ten-thousandth to one-fifth of the daily fuel consumption.
Example: If the boiler consumes 10 tons of fuel per day, add 1–1.5 kg of cleaning agent each time.
2. For initial use, apply 2–3 times the regular dose. If soot buildup is severe, increase the amount as needed. The initial treatment period usually lasts about a week.
Method of Use (for fired boilers):
Place the cleaning agent directly on the grate through the observation hole. Ensure the boiler is in a hot state after being burned for some time, with the firebrick and boiler walls also hot.
Once added, burn the boiler at high intensity so that the chemical gases can fully interact with the soot-covered surfaces, enhancing the cleaning effect.
Economic Benefits:
Within 15 days of use, the accumulated soot in the boiler can be removed (with continuous use, the heating surfaces remain clean). This improves heat conduction, reduces heat loss, and enhances thermal efficiency by 3–6%. The coal savings can reach 5–7%.
