The furniture industry will build a "blacklist"
Today, Sichuan, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang are also called the three bases of China's furniture manufacturing industry. Recently, a series of random inspection results announced by the quality inspection department have triggered concerns about the quality of Sichuan furniture. According to the results, among the more than 80 batches of products sampled, the qualification rate of Sichuan furniture is only about 60%. In this regard, many departments, including the Sichuan Provincial Economic Commission, clarified that more than 95% of the unqualified products are manufactured by enterprises below the scale, and some brands with national influence are even higher than the national standards in terms of quality.
In order to reverse the unfavorable situation brought by this spot check to Sichuan furniture, and also to regulate the internal order of the industry, on December 7, the provincial department of the General Regulations and other six departments jointly issued a notice to carry out a centralized rectification of the province's furniture industry for half a year.
