The rainbow jade is warm and the environment with obvious temperature difference between day and night. It has strong adaptability to temperature and can grow well between 10 °C and 28 °C. In autumn and winter, the temperature is lowered, the light is enhanced, and the fleshy leaves gradually turn red. Therefore, artificial cooling during cultivation can increase the ornamental value. The room temperature in winter should not be lower than 5 °C. The earrings are happy, and the whole growth period should make it fully visible. However, exposure to the sun in the summer can cause sunburn in the leaves, which can be properly shaded or sun-dried. Avoid direct sun exposure at noon.
Eardrops grow slowly and are drought-tolerant, so it is not suitable for large fat water. It should be treated with dry watering and pouring. When the room temperature is low in winter, the amount and frequency of watering should be reduced. Usually apply organic liquid fertilizer once a month. Keep well ventilated during the summer months. Eardrops grow slowly, and after 3 years of cultivation, the plant shape begins to scatter, so it should be trimmed in advance.
